Important Information
Check-in and Check-out Procedures
- Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager). Entry information cannot be sent until this is completed.
Property Access
- Big Bear Lodge has convenient paved access all the way to the driveway. Two bays of the garage are available for guest use.
- While staying at Big Bear Lodge, you have access to most amenities inside Eagles Nest.
- Guests do not have access to the locked-off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. These areas are for member use only.
- Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For information about ATV rentals please visit: Off Road Adventures.
Policies and Rules
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person must sign the agreement and be one of the guests staying at the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking allowed inside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book or digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy are allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- Minimum age to rent: 25 years.
- Children allowed.
- No events allowed.
- Pet rent: $25/night per pet. Mature, well-trained dogs 50lb and under only. Limit of two.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment, etc.).
- Depending on the home, 4WD, chains, or sometimes both may be required when visiting the mountains in winter. Access to this home may not be suitable for vehicles with rear-wheel drive, limited ground clearance, or motorcycles.
- Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.
- Please note all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
Fees and Payments
- Firewood may be added at the time of booking or by reaching out more than a week in advance. Two wrapped bundles of kiln-dried wood and a firestarter for $25/night plus taxes.
- Pet rent: $25/night per pet. Mature, well-trained dogs 50lb and under only. Limit of two.
- Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each.
- The summer concerts are open to all guests; however, there may be an admission fee for each person and a cash bar for food and drinks.
- CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled within 24 hours of creation will receive a full refund. Bookings canceled more than 24 hours after creation are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
Parking Information
- Big Bear Lodge has paved access to the driveway. Two bays of the garage are available for guest use.
Utilities and Amenities Access
- Well-stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals are provided. A starter set of paper products is at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent tablets, laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. These items are enough for one or two nights. All linens and towels are included in the home.
- Hair dryers are provided (see amenities).
- High-speed internet access is available. Some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment.
- Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATVs. For ATV rentals, visit Off Road Adventures.
Safety and Emergency Information
- The home has a whole-home generator in case of emergencies.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals.
- 4WD, chains, or both may be required during winter. Access may not be suitable for rear-wheel drive vehicles, vehicles with limited ground clearance, or motorcycles.
- Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector provided.
Construction and Community Notices
- Eagles Nest is a growing community with ongoing construction in several neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard between 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- Increased traffic may occur on the mountain between 7-8am and 4-5pm.
Eagles Nest Amenities Access
- During your stay at Big Bear Lodge, you have access to most Eagles Nest amenities:
- Great Camp: BBQ Pavilion, Amphitheater (summer concerts May-November), Great Lawn, Playground, Hiking Trails, Ropes Course and Climbing Tower (seasonal), Mini-Golf, 24/7 General Store.
- North Pavilion: Ball Field, Sportsmans Lodge (unlocked portion), Sports Court (Basketball and Pickleball), Dog Park, Walking Trail, Sportsman's Grille (Wed-Sun, hours vary), Fire Pit, Woodland Trail System (ATV Trails, Hiking, Biking).
- Camp (BYO Equipment): Tennis Courts, Pickleball, Disk Golf, Archery.
- Vineyard: Food and wine served. Eagles Nest Winery day passes available onsite for $25.00 each. Hours: Thur & Fri 4pm-10pm, Sat & Sun 1pm-7pm. All visitors to the winery must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced.
- Guests do not have access to the locked-off portion of the Sportsman's Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar (members only).
Additional Notes
- Larger groups may rent this home along with other Eagle's Nest properties.
- The summer concerts are open to all guests; admission fee and cash bar may apply.
